ERROR

Error Message
ArcView returns this error message while merging themes using the Geoprocessing Wizard:
Attempt to edit read only virtual table (VTAB)
Cause
You do not have write permissions to the destination directory of the output shapefile.
Solution or Workaround
Change the destination directory to another folder or grant yourself write permissions to the current folder.
