Can't ping ArcIMS using ServletExec 3.0

Description

I installed ServletExec 3.0 and I can’t ping ArcIMS in my browser. Is ServletExec 3.0 a supported Servlet Engine for ArcIMS 3.0?

Cause

The default installation location for ServletExec 3.0 is different from the previous versions.

Solution or Workaround



The new location is \Program Files\New Atlanta\ServletExec ISAPI\Servlets. Choose this location during the ArcIMS Installation.

If you have already installed ArcIMS, stop your web server, copy the entire com directory and Esrimap_prop file located in <ArcIMS Installation Directory> \Connectors\Servlet to the ServletExec\ISAPI\Servlets directory, and restart your web server.
