Could not open map composition
Error Message
Trying to open a map composition in ARCPLOT, or with the Arc DRAW command returns the following error message:
"Cannot open map composition"
Cause
A map composition consists of multiple .gra files and in some cases an 'env' file. If any other file types exist within the map composition directory, ArcInfo will not be able to draw it in ARCPLOT or with the DRAW command.
Solution or Workaround
Use the operating system to navigate to the map composition directory. It should only contain files with a .gra extension or the 'env' file. Delete any other files.
