Start the ESRI License Manager from the command line

Steps to start the ESRI License Manager from the command line.

Procedure

1. Open a Command Prompt window
   
2. At the DOS prompt, type the command:
   
   

   Code:
   cd /d C:\Progra~1\ESRI\License
   

   
   
3. To start the license manager, type the command:
   
   

   Code:
   lmgrd –c *.lic -l c:\tmp\license.log

   
   
   

   Warning:
   You must stop the license manager before starting it from the command line.
