How To: The meaning of the columns displayed by the SDE command 'sdemon -o info -I stats'

Procedure

The SDE command 'sdemon -o info -I stats' returns the columns shown below.

Solution:

PID        = Process ID of gsrvr process

OPS = Number of internal client commands sent to server

READS = Number of rows read from the RDBMS

WRITES = Number of rows written to the RDBMS

BUFFERS = Number of feature buffers loaded by this process

PARTIAL = Number of features passed in pieces (due to large size). BUFFERS + PARTIAL = total # features transmitted.

F/BUF = BUFFERS / # features buffered by this process

BUF AVG = TOT Kbytes / BUFFERS

TOT Kbytes = Total data transferred (in Kbytes)
