Raster column has non-Null values or used as row_id column

Solution or Workaround

Using the ArcSDE C API to load raster data, SE_rastercolumn_create encountered a -193 error:

"Raster column has non-Null values or used as row_id column."

Cause:

The raster column is defined in the table with the NOT NULL constraint. Raster columns must allow NULLs.

Solution:

Alter the table to allow NULLs in the raster column.
