How To: Turn beeping off on the CalComp 9100 digitizer

Procedure

Summary

By default, the CalComp 9100 digitizer will beep with every point you enter. In stream mode, this becomes a steady stream of beeps from the digitizer, plus
occasional beeps from the PC. The beeps coming from the PC indicate that points are getting ignored, that is because the default points per second (pps) rate is more than PC ARC/INFO can handle.

Procedure

· Use this digform to turn beeping off on the digitizer and to correct the data rate, the latter will reduce the error bell on the PC.
