Conflict of Windows NT system with PC Arc/Info.

Important: Make sure there are no environment settings present that are related to workstation Arc/Info.

Follow these options:

1. REMark out this statement:
device=C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\ANSI.SYS

If this doesn't resolve the problem, try option 2:

2. Find the following lines in ARCW.BAT:

ARC %0 %1 %2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7 %8 %9
goto done

Change them to look like this:

IF A%OS% == AWindows_NT goto NT
ARC %0 %1 %2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7 %8 %9
goto done
:NT
CMD /C ARC %0 %1 %2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7 %8 %9
goto done

NOTE If you need to revert back to the original statement, just REM the IF statement.

If none of the above resolves the problem, then try option 3.

3. REMark out the SHELL statement in CONFIG.NT.
