Problem: When I Open a Geo File, No Features Display.

Solution or Workaround

If you add data but are unable to see any features, try one of the following options:

1. In Layers and Themes, make sure there are features in the layer.

Click on the Layer Info tab and check the number of features for that layer. If there are features, click ok to get out of Layers and Themes.

Go to Query | Select by Layer and select the layer that is not drawing. If features are selected, click on View | Selected Map Features and that should draw your map.

2. If no features are displayed, it is possible that the line style to the layer has been deleted or the layer has been turned off.

Right click in the map area.
In Layers and Themes, highlight the layer.
Make sure there is a line style by clicking on the Style tab.
If there is, make sure the layer is turned on by having "yes" in the layer "on" column. If no features are there, click redraw.
