Summary

When installing Crystal Reports on a Novell Server, an invalid directory error is received.

Answer

Crystal Reports 7.0 cannot be installed on Novell servers. This is because the program requires that certain system files be installed in the system directory.

Crystal Reports 7.0 can only be installed on a local machine, or on a server running Windows NT, 95, or 98.
Note:
Crystal Reports 6.0, which shipped with ArcView 3.1, can be installed on Novell servers.
