Solution or Workaround
There is annotation in the coverage, yet when the ARCEDIT commands
ARCEDIT: DRAWENVIRONMENT ANNO
ARCEDIT: DRAW
are issued, annotation is not drawn to the screen.
Cause:
The annotation is most likely stored in a subclass.
Answer:
To view this subclass, the name must be specified. For example,
annotation is often imported from AutoCAD and the annotation is stored in a subclass called DXF.
To see this annotation:
ARCEDIT: DRAWENVIRONMENT ANNO.DXF
By specifying DRAWENVIRONMENT ANNO, only the annotation stored in ANNO is displayed and not any annotation stored in subclasses. To see the subclasses, do an ARC DESCRIBE. If there is a subclass called SOIL, it is possible to display it with this command:
ARCEDIT: DRAWENVIRONMENT ANNO.SOIL
