Question
Can an Esri service pack be uninstalled for Esri ArcGIS products version 10.x?
Answer
Starting at the 10.0 release, service packs are displayed in the Control Panel as separate installations for Windows operating systems.
• For Windows XP and Windows Server 2003, this is displayed in the Add or Remove Programs administrative tool.
• For Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista and Windows 7, this is displayed in the Programs and Features administrative tool.
• For Windows XP and Windows Server 2003, the Show Updates checkbox for Currently installed programs in the Add or Remove Programs dialog box must be checked in order to view service packs, as shown in the following image.

• For Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista and Windows 7, click the View installed updates link to display installed ArcGIS service packs.

The following products support an uninstallation of Esri service packs.
• ArcGIS Desktop
• ArcGIS Reader
• ArcGIS Engine Runtime
