Question
Are ArcGIS exported files, such as PDF, AI, and EMF, supported in Illustrator, Freehand, Corel, and so forth?
Answer
ESRI develops ArcGIS version 9.x and future versions to be compatible with Adobe products, such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Reader.
While several ArcGIS export formats are supported input formats for other graphics applications, such as Adobe Freehand, formerly Macromedia Freehand, and Corel's CorelDraw, ESRI does not address any problems that may arise using ArcGIS exported formats in these applications.
