@maskari: Thanks. Unfortunately, right above your message it still says: "Last Modified: 9/21/2012". Once again, it is "10.1, SP1" and "10.0.4.4032". The latter, is that just a patch / Hot Fix addition that I haven't found the documentation on yet or am I seeing something more bizarre out there?

The article needs to be updated.

Kind of regular request due - it is time to update for the next service pack (10.1, SP 1). Is there a release checklist that could include "update the build numbers tech article" as one of the items to accomplish as the service pack is released? Re: "just have it on the page" - I don't always have access to that but do have access to "version numbers" which include build numbers. Now if I could just figure out what it means when I get an ArcGIS 10, Sp 4 install with a version number/build 10.0.4.4032....

The article needs to be updated.

The article answered the question, but wouldn't it be easier to just have the version description with the build number in the program's "About" splash screen?

You should add the following note: ArcGIS Desktop 9.3 Service Pack 1 still displays as build 1770 from ArcCatalog Help > About ArcCatalog.

Please check info for ArcGIS 9.3sp1... doesn't ArcCatalog still show build 1770 at sp1 and only ArcMap shows 1850? Otherwise, great to have finally located this easy reference...

The article is incorrect or the solution didn’t work.

This page states the following as the build numbers for ArcGIS Desktop: Build 1324 = ArcGIS Desktop 9.2 final Build 1332 = ArcGIS Desktop 9.2 Service Pack 1 Build 1350 = ArcGIS 9.2 Service Pack 2 I have SP 1 installed and my build number is 1324. Can you verify that the above build numbers are correct? Thank you

Hi there... This article needs to have the new build included for ArcGIS 9.2 SP2 (Build 1350 for ArcMap.exe). Thanks, Doug C

The article has missing, misleading, or conflicting information.

Is 9.2 service pack 1, build 1324 or 1332? There seems to be contradiction at the end of the article.

This article helpfully identifies "Build Numbers" and it points out that the build number of the software is not that which is shown when you use >help>about. How *does* one find out what the build number actually is, short of trying to under-install (for example, install build 1324 under 1332)?

The article needs to be updated.

The article does not show the build for ArcGIS 9.1 sp2. Is there any way of finding this out?
