2012 Consumer Spending Renumbering Crosswalk

This spreadsheet provides a crosswalk for variables between the 2012 Consumer Spending dataset and the 2011 Consumer Spending dataset.

The 2012 release of the Esri Consumer Spending data for the U.S. includes an update to the underlying survey data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The 2012 release from Esri incorporates the 2010 and 2011 Consumer Expenditure (CEX) diary and interview surveys. Data users should take caution when updating applications that use this data as most variable names have been changed.
