  1. [3D analysis] The components of Delaunay triangulation. Delaunay triangles cannot exist alone; they must exist as part of a set or collection that is typically referred to as a triangulated irregular network (TIN). A circle circumscribed through the three nodes of a Delaunay triangle will not contain any other points from the collection in its interior.
