ArcGIS 10.3 Data Store WHERE clause with non-English characters Patch

• BUG-000084205 - Query from an SDS FS on portal fails when there is a WHERE clause containing non-English characters in the field name.
  
  
• Description: This issue only occurs when the where clause parameter has been set and the where clause contains non-English characters. An application that queries the service in order to draw the features will not encounter the issue as long as a query filter is not sent.

ArcGIS 10.3 Data Store must be installed before installing this patch.

1. Download the appropriate file for your environment to a location other than your ArcGIS installation location.

2. Make sure you have write access to your ArcGIS installation location.
   
   
3. Double-click the MSP to start the setup process.
   
   NOTE: If double clicking on the MSP file does not start the setup installation, you can start the setup installation manually by using the following command:
   
   
   msiexec.exe /p [location of Patch]\ArcGIS-103-DS-WCNC-Patch.msp
    

Complete the following install steps as the ArcGIS 10.3 Data Store owner. The Install owner is the owner of the arcgis folder.

ArcGIS 10.3 Data Store must be installed before installing this patch.

1. Download the appropriate file to a location other than your ArcGIS installation location.
   
   

   Version 10.3		Checksum (Md5)
   ArcGIS 10.3 Data Store	ArcGIS-103-DS-WCNC-Patch-lx.tar	5B192300B7D664E5304D897E343D7677

   
   
2. Make sure you have write access to your ArcGIS installation location, and that no one is using ArcGIS.
   
   
3. Extract the specified tar file by typing:
   
   
   % tar -xvf ArcGIS-103-DS-WCNC-Patch-lx.tar


4. Start the installation by typing:
   
   
   % ./applypatch
   
   
   
5. This will start the dialog for the menu-driven installation procedure. Default selections are noted in parentheses ( ). To quit the installation procedure, type 'q' at any time.

To uninstall this patch on Windows, open the Windows Control Panel and navigate to installed programs. Make sure that "View installed updates" (upper left side of the Programs and Features dialog) is active. Select the ArcGIS 10.3 Data Store WHERE clause with non-English characters Patch from the programs list and click Uninstall to remove the patch.
