This problem occurs most commonly on the Windows 2000 operating system, but it may also occur on Windows XP. We recommend that all users who are experiencing this problem download and install this Patch at their earliest convenience to ensure the highest quality experience when working with ArcGIS 9.3.1. It deals specifically with the issues listed below under Issues Addressed with this Patch.

Issues Addressed with this Patch

  • NIM045833 - "ArcGISFileHandler.exe Entry Point Not Found" error received when attempting to open a PMF or MXD by double-clicking after upgrading to 9.3.1.
