Summary

ESRI announces ArcGIS Military Analyst 9.1 Service Pack 1. This Service Pack contains several improvements and maintenance fixes for Military Analyst 9.1.

Description

We recommend that all Military Analyst 9.1 customers download and install this Service Pack, at their earliest convenience, to ensure the highest quality experience when working with Military Analyst 9.1. In addition to the maintenance fixes in this Service Pack, the Military Analyst user interface has also been modified to accommodate international languages for localization.

CQ00202552 - Coord tool: incorrect UTM zones/coordinates in northern Europe
CQ00254809 - Stats are not calculated for rasters output to SDE from MA Tools.
CQ00256682 - Output of Mosaic command/visible extent option incorrect for RPF catalogs
CQ00256696 - Cannot specify an output location for hillshade
CQ00262519 - Labels display upside down when geodesy lines cross 180 degrees
CQ00266468 - Any MA surface analysis functions that reproject data do not work in projected data frames
CQ00268730 - Leading zero added to beginning of DMS string
CQ00268908 - <AG> Fly Through with 90 degrees of inclination looks bad
CQ00269837 - Adding multiple observers to the RLOS then hitting the "Single Observer" button does not clear the inputs.

Installing the Service Pack

Military Analyst 9.1 and ArcGIS 9.1 must be installed before you can install this Service Pack.

  1. Make sure you have write access to your ArcGIS installation location, and that no one is accessing it.
  2. Download the following file to a location other than the installation folder:
  3. Double-click the msp file to start the install process.

    NOTE: If double clicking on the MSP file does not start the Service Pack installation, you can start the Service Pack installation manually by using the following command:

    msiexec.exe /p [location of service pack]\MilitaryAnalyst91sp1.msp REINSTALL=ALL REINSTALLMODE=omus

  4. When Setup starts, follow the instructions on your screen.

NOTE: If you have installed client setups from a shared Network Administrative ArcGIS Desktop setup, this Service Pack must be applied to all client installations.
