You can use "sdelayer -o feature_info" in conjunction with "sdelayer -o list" to get the correct error code. Use the row ID reported by "sdelayer -o feature_info" and attempt to list the vertices of the failed geometry with "sdelayer -o list". The correct error code will be displayed.
