China's BeiDou Navigation Satellite System, the European Union's Galileo, Russia's GLONASS, and the United States' GPS are a combined global navigation satellite system (GNSS). India's IRNSS and Japan's QZSS (a satellite-based GPS augmentation system) are regional satellite navigation systems.
